Stars, Soryan and Aliakbari out of Iran line up
Five times world champion Hamid Soryan is out of greco roman line-up. He decided not to wrestle and prepare for Olympic games. Also two 96kg stars 2010 world champion Amir Aliakbari and 2010 Asian games and Baku GP champion Babak Ghorbani has tested positive in out of competition test by WADA but they have protested to the result.
They are out of team for worlds but FILA didnt announce their sanction yet. 2007 world bronze medalist Ghasem Rezaei is replaced in 96kg. Azerbaijan country was eager to have Rezaei in national team but Iran federation didnt agree. Now Iranian Saman Tahmasebi wrestles for Azerbaijan in 84kg of greco roman. Tahmasebi is two times world bronze medalist.
